Here you'll find some of our favourite snapshots of our projects. We have a regular CUE-mmunity Gardening Gathering the third Sunday of the month from 1pm to 3pm at Coventry Central Hall CV12HA. All welcome!

These gardens require ongoing love and care through all the seasons.

The 'Grassy Bit' Project

March 2026 - ongoing

Collaborating with CVLife/The Wave, GoundWork West Midlands, Coffee Tots and Chat Central, CUE have started to make the space around the bench planter more accessible and plans for the space include another bench and some planter boxes. The soil is not deep enough to plant directly and so we look forward to co-creating the space further.

FarGo Village Green for All Project

June 2026 - ongoing

Collaborating with Nature Towns and Cities at Grapevine as part of the Green for All scheme, CUE suported at the Sherbourne Valley Project Riverfest in June 2026. We tended to the planters already there and also added some more colour to new pots and planters while engaging with the community at the event. Please help care for these plants and water when it's warm!

Raised Bed at Coventry Central Hall Project

May 2023 - ongoing

Finally after a lot of preparation we transformed the raised bed at Central Hall into a beautiful community garden. We also commissioned flower and wildlife mural by @dynamikart which really added a lovely touch colour to the space. The raised bed had a beautiful Indian Bean tree that was sadly blown over by Storm Eunice in 2022. What is left is fondly known as 'the stump'. It still has a tree protection order on it and so CUE believes in adds a special historic touch to the new garden bed.

TerraCycle Garden Bench Planter Project

January 2025

We were the lucky winners of a bench planter from TerraCycle and so we had it placed in a space which we hope will become a community corner for people to have a chat in.

Planters at The Herbert Art Gallery

Collaboration with: The Herbert Art Gallery, Team Springboard and Mothers Who Make

Some beautiful planters were made for the Herbert Arty Gallery courtyard (near the cafe) and we were invited to collaborate on them and were involved in several planting sessions in 2023 and 2024 - even in the freezing January temperatures, we were planting bulbs!
